Do you replace sills? Yes we can repair any window in any condition.

Will you repair when possible or replace? We will always look to repair if at all economically viable to the client.

Can you make smaller repairs rather than total replacement of sashes? In some cases we can carry out small splice repairs or sashes and frames. This is dependant on how damaged your sash windows are and would need to be assessed on site.

How will repairs be finished? All repairs will primed, under coated and ready for decoration.

Do I need to decorate repairs? Yes you will have a minimum of six months from restoration of your sash windows to decorate them fully

What timber do you use? We always repair with joinery grade Pine as standard. We can use any material on request.

Do you use resin? Yes however we always splice with timber where possible using resin for joints.

How long are repairs guaranteed for? All sash window restoration carries a five year guarantee.

If I need a new sash will you match my originals? Yes we will take a sample of your profile and match it as best as is possible. The general aim when replacing any element of your window is to match the original as it should have been originally.

How long will restoration work last for? Restoration work we carry out will last as long as the maintenance is kept up.

Will you make good any damage caused whilst repairing my windows? In rare cases sills are connected to wooden plates beneath the sill from where plaster is positioned. This may result in small damaged to your plaster. We will be glad to make good this. If your plaster is already live as a result of extended poor maintenance we will of course make good however will be charged for.
